#WhatsApp unterstützt noch #Android5. Vermutlich hat die Entscheidung zukünftig #iOS12 nicht mehr zu unterstützen einen finanziellen Hintergrund. Der Aufwand lohnt sich nicht mehr, da der Anteil von Geräten mit iOS 12 zu gering ist.

Das sagt leider auch viel über das #Android-Ökosystem aus. Ist es 2024 noch sicher ein OS zu nutzen, dass das letzte Update im April 2015 erhalten hat?

It blows my mind that #Apple still pushes #SecurityPatches to older devices. I updated my nine-year-old #iPhone5S 🤩 to the most current #ios12 and I updated two other iPhones as well 🤓 #securityupdate
