  1. Have some thoughts lately...

Indonesian nerds or activist who cares about privacy should have started to follow to make our own version of EFF (Electronic Frontiers Foundation), The Citizen Lab, Cult of Dead Cow, etc... who focused on advocating, brainstorms, doing campaigns, promoting, educating the goverment regarding digital rights.

We have seen what Komdigi trying to do so far, it just the starting point, and it will get worse day by day, unless WE educate our goverment the right way to do digital rights.

    Why?

If you think again, the goverment has the right for concern regarding negativity on what they do. BUT, what they did is oriented with nations that do not like about digital rights, you know which countries, I am talking about.

Our nation is on their way doing digital sovereignity, WHICH IS I REALLY 100% SUPPORT, because west nations are starting being an assholes lately.

What I have seen so far is that activist, nerds, etc who are aware... is just being reactive, not preventive. We have seen that Komdigi following what England do for digital verification.

They will start to follow what other nation did to "protect" nation interest.

C word nation with their digital firewall, they might follow it (cough TKPPSE)

Turning off internet like "I" word? Already happened in Papua before.

But, we can prevent it (hypothetically) by educating and give our own solution with the goverment.

OR WE make our own protection ourselves.

Screaming on social is okay, but it is still not enough, we need to scream and also make the solution. Prepare before the worst!

Sorry about my incoherent rambling, but I think this is important before I forget, and we need to start as fast as possible before our goverment sinking too late to safe. And we all be fucked because of it.
