🎬⭐ Am Samstag haben wir den Film „Butenland“ in der Baracke gezeigt. Bei der anschließenden Diskussion mit Filmemacher Marc Pierschel und rund 40 Besucher*innen sprachen sich viele dafür aus, dass vegan Leben und öffentlicher Aktivismus wichtige Bausteine für den Übergang zu einer tierleidfreien Gesellschaft sind.
Alles war kostenlos - Kino, vegane Waffeln, veganes Essen 💚🍲🧇

Coffee and Cigarettes is one of those—just people talking about nothing and everything at the same time.
Today I watched Only Lovers Left Alive. The soundtrack, the cinematography, the atmosphere... it's one of those films where the mood is just as important as the story. Beautiful from beginning to end.

This is my first attempt at vfx/animation! Going for “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” style interactions!
Everything was filmed on a Sony a7iii, her face was made with inkscape, animated and rendered in blender and composited in DaVinci.

In gemütlicher Atmosphäre zeigen wir am 25.7 den Film Butenland in der Baracke. Dazu gibt es Waffeln und Küfa.
Der Film erzählt die Geschichte eines Bauernhofs, der sich im Laufe der Zeit grundlegend verändert hat. Im Anschluss gibt es Gelegenheit zum Austausch und zur Diskussion über die Themen des Films. Als besonderes Highlight ist der Regisseur Marc Pierschel mit anwesend. 🎬⭐
Der ehemalige Milchbauer Jan Gerdes und die Aktivistin Karin Mück haben mit Hof Butenland einen besonderen Ort geschaffen. Wo früher Landwirtschaft betrieben wurde, leben heute Tiere, die dort dauerhaft bleiben können.
🐄 Als Milchbauer in dritter Generation führt Jan Gerdes einen erfolgreichen Bio-Betrieb im Norden Deutschlands. Doch die Anforderungen und Widersprüche des landwirtschaftlichen Alltags bringen ihn zunehmend ins Nachdenken. Nach einer persönlichen Krise entscheidet er sich schließlich, den Betrieb aufzugeben. Als die letzten Kühe den Hof verlassen sollen, treffen er und Karin Mück eine unerwartete Entscheidung: Einige Tiere bleiben auf dem Hof. Aus dieser Entscheidung entsteht Hof Butenland – ein Projekt, das neue Wege im Zusammenleben von Mensch und Tier erprobt. 🫶
