I enjoyed and appreciated this editorial on the benefits of society journals vs for profit ones, for the academic community.
I was a bit perturbed though by the mention of journal impact factors. I thought academic communities were trying to move away from using this? Is it all just talk and actually this is an honest editorial that they are not?
