Some PRIMO Italian progressive rock for last spin of the night.

The second of their two albums; complex time signatures, jazzy fusion influences, and some delicious synth.

I cannot remember where I got this, but I’ve got a real soft spot in my heart for this record. I’m usually not into THIS kind of prog, but after buying it on a whim from wherever the hell I got it, it won me over after a few listens.

There’s no duds on here. The whole albums pretty good. And dare I say… fun?

I’ve never seen or heard the first self-titled Il Volo album, and I’m not sure I need to.
But you know me…
I’ll get it if I see it. 😂

If you like jazzy-sounding Italian prog, give this a try.

Also… one last thought…

Alberto Radius might be the greatest name of any dude from any band ever.

Yesterday we arrived at Chicago for our first concert, Il volo. Traffic was ridiculous and we got there like 20 minutes late, but I was still able to enjoy 1 hour and 30 minutes of their beautiful voices! 😍
