Ab heute gibt es die neue @javaaktuell an allen Bahnhofskiosken zu erwerben.

In dem Heft findet sich unter anderem ein Einsteiger Artikel von mir zum Thema: "Fediverse - Social Media, dezentral und Community-driven"
@McPringle hat das noch ergänzt mit einem sehr ausführlichen Artikel, was die @ijug.social ihren Mitgliedern für Services im Fediverse anbietet.

Besonders gespannt bin ich auch auf den #WomenInTech Artikel.
Viel Spass damit.

Danke @rotnroll666! Wir haben beim #iJUG eine wahrscheinlich sehr lange Reise begonnen. Aber wie heisst es doch so schön: Selbst die längste Reise beginnt mit dem ersten Schritt. Und mit langen Reisen kenne ich mich ja bekanntlich aus... 😜

Du hast den Admin-Account erwischt. Halb so schlimm. Aber der macht nur administratives Zeugs im Hintergrund und postet nichts. Für den iJUG selbst müssen wir noch einen Mastodon-Account anlegen. Der bekommt dann auch einen sprechenden Namen. 😅

Right now I am trying to inform myself on the most popular video platform and it has become unbearable! So many ads, on repeat, really stupid ones. I am so glad we as #iJUG started to join an alternative:

After EclipseCon and CyberLand events and local JUG meetings #JavaLand is on the horizon again. Just finished a half-day meeting for planning 2024 with other community members. #iJUG

Updated the #ijug Mastodon server ijug.social to v4.1.8 (includes security fixes). Several server updates have been completely painless so far. Great work by the developers! Thank you! #Mastoadmin

Endlich fertig! 😅 @TobiasFrech, @McPringle und ich haben gestern die ersten Accounts auf unserer selbstgebastelten #Mastodon-Instanz des #ijug e. V. freigeschaltet! Letztes Jahr nahmen wir für den Interessensverband der #Java Users Groups in DE/A/CH bereits eine eigene #Matrix-Instanz in Betrieb. Unsere Infrastruktur wird langsam aber sicher autark! 👍

Richte gerade gemeinsam mit Tobias Frech (#JUGS) und @McPringle (@jugch) #Mastodon für den #IJUG ein. 🐘
