Open Liberty's Maven documentation has all the pieces. The end-to-end path is spread across plugin goals, dev mode, feature installation, and packaging.
I connected and validated that path with Java 21 and Jakarta REST 4.0: hot reload, Failsafe against a real server, a clean CI build, and a runnable JAR.

Given the two tables accounts in the first screenshot, you can either have a #JakartaEE mapping, and you get an object graph, or use Virtual Graphs. Our internal configuration looks much the same (compare second screenshot left and right). Althoug, you don't need an editor to define it, we provide you a great UI for that.
