Day 2 at #RDAPlenary27 brought big questions around sustainable research infrastructures, AI-ready data & interoperability.
A highlight for #HMC: Maximilian Inckmann’s Ideas Pitch on #FAIR Digital Objects for machine-actionable #Metadata social followed by lively discussions on PIDs, implementations & collaboration.
Another takeaway: FAIR alone isn’t enough – trust, federation, UX & strong communities matter too.
And perhaps the best motto of the day: “Don’t compete. Connect!”

Our LEGO challenge at the #HZB Open Day kept our colleagues from #HMC Hub Matter busy throughout the event – with visitors ranging from young children to retirees.
And that was one of our favourite observations: no matter their age or previous knowledge, everyone could experience why precise information and context matter.
