What an inspiring #GEOMAR Science Day 2025! ✨
The new Science Parcours gave a fresh perspective: moving from lab to lab and workshop to workshop, colleagues could experience firsthand how research is done – sparking lots of curiosity and exchange.Talks, lively discussions and the Otto Krümmel Prize ceremony rounded off a day full of insights.
Our #HMC colleague Constanze Curdt enjoyed many great conversations on metadata and FAIR data – thanks to all who made the day so special!

The Power of Metadata – HMC at Girls Day 2025 👭 📝
Our #HMC colleagues from Hub Matter at @hzbde hosted their first metadata-themed workshop for Girls Day at #HZB!
They introduced Data & Information Science to 11 curious girls from Berlin and played a fun, newly developed metadata game. 😊
Big thanks to our brave participants for exploring this exciting field with us – we had a blast! 💙
