I'd been making good progress at getting my new Autumn pieces online over the past few days… and then my laptop died. 😫 It's currently in the repair shop and I'm hoping against hope that they can fix it, as I really don't have the time or headspace to be dealing with finding a new one right now. Why do these things always happen when you are already spinning too many plates as it is?!

* Price Increases Incoming *
It's a post I really don't want to have to write, but the time has come and I really can't avoid it any longer. Unfortunately the price of silver continues to rise, and along with that I'm afraid my prices are about to rise too. I'm preparing for a return to the studio tomorrow and found that the cost of my silver sheet has gone up by about 6% in just the last week alone.

A quick look back at my order history shows an eye watering 36% increase in just the past 6 months. 🤯 I hate to do this, especially with Christmas around the corner, but I'm sure you'll understand that at this point it really is unavoidable. Don't worry though, you're not going to see prices go up by anywhere near that amount, especially my mixed metal pieces!

Another week complete, where is the time going?!

I had a fab couple of hours joining them together to create this necklace, along with two bracelets. Each one is completely unique and never to be repeated. I was a bit nervous about the task as the stones were very delicate, but in the end I thoroughly enjoyed making them and was really pleased with how the necklaces turned out. And, most importantly, so were my clients. Phew!

One of my recent commissions, which was handed over last week: a cute quartet of jade pendants.

My clients were an older couple who had four jade cabochons that had come from a bracelet bought in China a number of years ago. They wanted to turn the stones into pendants which will eventually be given to their daughters and granddaughters.
