Last month, representatives from Verrus,
a California-based data center development company,
made the trek up to the city of Salem Oregon
to pitch a planned $5.1 billion data server farm that would move into 75 acres of state-owned property.According to the Salem Reporter, they were greeted by hundreds of citizens, most of whom showed up to tell Verrus to shove it.
One person in particular got attention:
a guy who put a
⭐️guillotine on a trailer and rode it around outside of the Salem Public Library’s Loucks Auditorium where the meeting was taking place.

I am joking, but protest is only effective as a social pressure valve if it wins. When large, peaceful, polite protests get nowhere, it is necessary to find a way to communicate the rage.

July 14 is the day Parisians stormed the Bastille fortress and prison in 1789, helping spark the #FrenchRevolution that overthrew the monarchy and sent King Louis XVI and his queen Marie-Antoinette to the #guillotine.
Oh guillotines...the gift that keeps on giving...
This year's celebrations includes #Ukraine and troops from the "Coalition of the Willing", which will probably soon replace #NATO.
Ukrainian troops will march along the cobblestoned avenue, and Ukrainian co-pilots trained in #France will fly two Mirage 2000B fighter jets alongside French air force pilots.
The parade will open with around 500 troops from the coalition of countries that have pledged to help with Ukraine’s post-war security.
In the skies, aircraft from #Germany, the #UK, #Croatia, #Poland, #Denmark, #Greece, #Sweden, #Norway, #Spain and #Italy will take part.

Ça marche très bien.
Faut passer en « mode canicule » hein ! 😉
À demain pour une autre astuce qui vous permettra de continuer à geeker tranquilou par 38 °c à l'ombre !

Bon bah on va se contenter de ça : réussir à descendre la température de la baraque à 25 °c en ayant tout ouvert pendant 2 heures entre 6 et 8, sachant que ça va gagner dans les 5-7 degrés durant la journée.
(Maj: on a fini a 28 en bas et 32 a l'étage)
On s'habitue et on tolère de plus en plus de choses.
C'est la mithridatisation climatique !

Someone - sorry, I don't remember who - pointed out that to encourage fairer economic distributions, we don't need to "guillotine all billionaires" or anything of the sort.
Instead, once a year, you find the richest person - well, let's be honest, the richest man - on the planet, and you guillotine them and distribute their accumulated assets.
The problem solves itself after that.
