Ein Sammlungszugang, der mich besonders freut: dieser ungarische #Recorder des Typs #videoton RM 5632 S, nicht wie so oft auf dem Flohmarkt als Exportausführung irgend einer seltsamen westdeutschen Handelsmarke, sondern als ungarische Binnenmarktvariante.

Mais le fait de mettre en place des missions humanitaires non-violentes en vue de ne pas laisser crever les #Palestiniens, c'est à #Israël que ça ne plaît pas. Et du coup, ils n'hésitent pas à couler tout ce qui s'approche des lieux de leurs exactions."

I am about to receive an old Philips D8623 ghettoblaster/boombox (almost exact same model as D8614, and also sold under the Magnavox and Radiola brands). You know one of this early 80's classic looking ones made of brushed metal. This one will need to be restored (I already ordered replacement belts and plastic gears for the cassette deck) but is a great choice because it has an Aux In. So even if the cassette deck and radio aren't functionnal it could still serve as bluetooth speaker with an adapter. I am wondering if it would be sacrilege to paint the speaker covers in a very bright blue, green or yellow neon color to differenciate it from others. I mean I like the original look with black speaker over brushed metal but it is a very common model and there are so many of them like it already...
Also, it would be a totally reversible change as I could still scrub back the paint and repaint them black anytime.

Die Mutter aller #Ghettoblaster ist zu verkaufen. Ich brauche das Geld sonst würde dieses letzte Überbleibsel meiner #Kofferradio Sammlung nicht verkaufen.
Der Philips 22RR482/22 wurde in den 60‘ern bis 1970 produziert und war das erste #Kassetten Radio überhaupt wenn man den Infos des Internet glaubt. Hat schon bessere Tage gesehen und braucht Aufmerksamkeit. Gab letztens noch Geräusche von sich (#Radio ).
