About 20 years ago I started a little project: a Visual FoxPro to JavaScript transpiler and runner. It never got far enough to be really useful, and I figured I should rescue it before some random flipped bit on my SSD made the whole thing permanently unusable. So I gave an AI coding agent a job: help me turn it into something presentable and actually usable.

The project now does two things:

1. It transpiles Visual FoxPro code to JavaScript.
2. It includes a Nashorn-based runtime, so the generated JavaScript can be executed directly.

There’s a parser, an AST, >100 tests, and even a Node.js runner.
