"Please spare Mockingbird an Introduction. As a reader I loathe Introductions.
...Mockingbird still says what it has to say; it has managed to survive the years without preamble."
--Harper Lee, A portion of the forward in the newest collector's edition of 'To Kill a Mockingbird'I often wish she had given us more treasures, but I'm selfish because it's my favorite book.

My favorite book is Pride & Prejudice, and apparently I'm collecting different versions of the book now. I now own 3 different versions and the complete works of Jane Austen. This is my latest addition to the collection! It's the Puffin In Bloom version. It's so pretty!

@CindySue @bookstodon I can't say a favorite book ... but "one book that really moved us, set us on our path, reinvigorated us" -- I'm going to pick Jane Eyre because it was one of the first classics I really loved and I still do. Jane's struggle to be free and self-determining resonates with me.

What is your favorite book? I know this can be a hard question, but I believe we all have one book that really moved us, set us on our path, reinvigorated us.
Mine is Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God
I discovered this book over 20 years ago in my AP English class in high school. (Thank you, Mr. Ewald!) I am not a rereader by any means, but I have read this book a number of times throughout the years.
