  2. Several rounds of updates later over the past few days (also in part thanks to some of the feedback received — thank you!), a new version of the thi.ng browser tool is up:

    demo.thi.ng/umbrella/thing-bro

    New features include:

    - additional per-project/example links to API docs, live demos, source code
    - for each tag only the top 10 related tags are shown now to avoid (well, minimize) cognitive overload
    - dozens of tags have been pruned/merged/replaced (across dozens of package.json files, an ongoing process for the near future...)
    - glossary/reference link additions
    - CSS updates

Since this entire tool is also entirely made with thi.ng/umbrella packages, some of these features (e.g. the related tag ranking/sorting) has been implemented & simplified via new additions to the thi.ng/transducers package (e.g. the new `sortedFrequencies()` reducer function, just released). Please see the main repo readme (section: "Latest updates") for more...

  12. @MattHodges,

Problem with Xanadu is that it conflates critical issues, stubbornly -- IMHO.

For instance, it talks about bi-directional links while failing to connect the concept to an entity relationship graph where links denote relationship types.

A so-called bi-direction link in just an inverse relationship type.

    See:
    linkeddata.uriburner.com/descr

Xanadu also conflates structured data presentation and representation.

  17. Some playful and quite useful fun stuff from my #LODCloud community colleagues:

    [1] uri4uri.is4.site/ -- URI4URI Home Page

    [2] uri4uri.is4.site/service.html/ -- about the #HTTP protocol

[3] my.data.is4.site/describe/?url -- about the current project owner

In a nutshell, this is what a machine-computable entity relationship graph about key protocols that drive the #Web and #Internet.

  22. @davew,

The #JSON file represents an accounts #ActivityStream covering a variety of activities.

This makes @Mastodon content highly accessible and interoperable with other productivity tools.

In my case, the JSON and #RSS data ends up in a #DataSpace that can be queried using full-text search patterns, #FacetedSearch, #SQL, #SPARQL, and #GraphQL.
