Remembering Henry Surtees
18 February 1991 – 19 July 2009The son of 1964 Formula 1 World Champion John Surtees, he died on this day at the age of 18 in a Formula 2 race at Brands Hatch when he was struck by a wheel from another car that had broken its tether and bounced across the track, after that car had spun into the wall exiting Westfield Bend. #F1 #F2 #motorsport
