Apparently Nikita Johnson was visited by Dale Coyne after the race who might have an open ride next year with Hauger having no guarantee of returning despite not having a terrible rookie year compared to the norm, I think everybody is hoping Nikita can get a full-time ride next year after proving victorious in one of the most competitive Indy NXT fields we have had in many years. Really impressive young driver.

I'm making a launcher and telemetry window that makes IndyCar Racing run Windows 11 native. I wanted a high detail option on the track map, so had to understand and display the tracks as they are in the sim. All objects. Everything. Check these out. #simracing #retrogaming #indycar #indy500

They love talking about Caio Collet on the #Indycar broadcasts like he's the most talented young guy in the sport despite both his teammate and the leading rookie outperforming him considerably and him having a pretty typical pay driver rookie seasons in 23rd (of 25 full time drivers) in points.
Frankly, if Alessandro de Tullio driving for the Indy NXT team could bring a similar amount of sponsorship funding as Caio, I'd absolutely make the switch cause de Tullio has so much natural speed and has looked so good as just a rookie this year.
-
Tony Kanaan be like "Sure, this young driver is one of the most promising talents in the sport, but what if instead I hired this senior citizen who won the 500 almost 20 years ago?"
-
Dreyer & Reinbold going back full time is neat, I always root for them to do well in the one race (Indy 500) they entered every year and they are one of the few teams still around who have deep roots in the old IRL series (though I was more of a CART fan).
RLL doesn't need to be 3 teams, they need to take that money and effort and invest it in making just two cars actually regularly competitive. What good is a three car team if they are always running in the back of the field?

If a Genie gave me a wish, I would wish for Will Power and Joey Logano to switch hairstyles.

Oh you know me, just ranting to the racing groupchat about how neat supermodified cars are and arguing we need to start letting their drivers race in Indycar again ala Davey Hamilton.
