It looks like, before reaching out to the European #Ombudsman, I should report the issue to the concerned #EU institution.

Actually even the #EULogin has strong US tech dependencies. 2nd factor via an app is only available for iOS and Android, TPM are only for Windows or Apple and security keys are delivered by supported companies.

A standard citizen can't bypass US tech to take an exam.

@EUCommission Do you know why the EU Login Mobile App is only available using an account at app stores from American companies? There are other app stores for Android available or you could even setup your own repository (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Android_app_stores). I wonder how this can help my Linux Desktop project @eu_os to get SSO with existing #OIDC servers such as Keykcloak/authentik/EU Login. It seems your documentation does not build properly. https://docs.bergblau.io/components/webidamd/ is blank.

Update: Die IT der EU hat inzwischen einen Hinweis auf Ihre Seite gesetzt, dass Personen aus Deutschland bei der #Digitalisierung nicht mitspielen dürfen.

Die in Deutschland für die Technik der #eID zuständige Firma #Governikus hat es auch nach 2 Wochen nicht geschafft eine Rückmeldung zu geben.
