@thegrumpyenby I asked to my doctor some years ago about that and she thought it wasn't a good idea in case I need antivirals if I have any kind of infection in the future.
She was an open mind doctor and told me she tried to get information about antivirals as treatment for #ME and had come to the same conclusion.
My ME is due to Epstein-Barr if it helps
