Galaxy II by Epoch (1981) VFD
I removed the plastic shell and magnification lens to get up close to the VFD with my camera, but I left the colored film that's used to tint parts of the display. It makes an interesting honeycomb pattern in the macro lens!
Trying to sync up the exposure time with the flickery animations was quite a challenge.
