W przypadku programistów i generalnie pracy biurowej często mówi się o umiejętnościach specjalistów, jednak nie zawsze są one wystarczające, aby dobrze czuć się w pracy. I created my own set of matrices for prioritizing tasks. I call it the #VeitiaMatrices. Similar to the #EisenhowerMatrix, I suggest prioritizing by estimated impact and urgency across two matrices: one for high-energy and focus and one for low-energy and focus. This ensures that you'll always be oriented toward what's important to you at all times, regardless of how much mental energy you can spare.

What you said about #ContextSwitching got me thinking about the prioritisation. When choosing what to start next would it be best to choose something that would mean not switching context?

I use a method that has elements of #gtd , but I have found the #EisenhowerMatrix doesn't work for me. I have something more like your system for processing the inbox for both that and prioritisation (now, not-now, not), at the moment.

The “Eisenhower Box” shouldn’t be called that because it’s a clear repackaging of Stephen Covey’s Time Matrix concept, which Covey in turn most likely got from Roger and Rebecca Merrill. The attribution to Eisenhower is loosely based on a single sentence that has been misattributed to him, and there is no evidence that he made, described, or ever used such a chart.
