  1. My final explosion in the high school fortress. The 'Eisenhower Matrix' didn't just organize priorities; it carved my path to victory through the fog of late nights that became an old habit. The body isn't for sleep; it's the Super-Machine built by day's decisions, not night's privileges. Remember this, dear brother: Focus is the most expensive currency. The humility of a genius is realizing this superior vessel is worthy of every investment .

  4. 🧠 Struggling with productivity? The Eisenhower Matrix can change the way you manage tasks. Tackle urgent & important tasks first, schedule non-urgent priorities, delegate the rest, and eliminate distractions. Effective prioritization is key to success.

Należy też umieć zarządzać swoim czasem i uwagą. Jest do tego kilka znanych technik, ale warto je sobie odświeżyć, szczególnie, gdy mamy problem ze skupieniem się.

  8. New blog post: Time Management

I have evolved a system to plan my time, and schedule work days, based on task priority and importance.

    It is a spreadsheet, where I classify task urgency and worth using an Eisenhower matrix;
I then plan days and commit to tasks in 1-hour blocks (à la Deep Work).

  10. I created my own set of matrices for prioritizing tasks. I call it the #VeitiaMatrices. Similar to the #EisenhowerMatrix, I suggest prioritizing by estimated impact and urgency across two matrices: one for high-energy and focus and one for low-energy and focus. This ensures that you'll always be oriented toward what's important to you at all times, regardless of how much mental energy you can spare.

If you found this useful, please boost. I want to help as many people as possible

  14. @pcameronpresley your article on keeping track resonated with me 😊

What you said about #ContextSwitching got me thinking about the prioritisation. When choosing what to start next would it be best to choose something that would mean not switching context?

I use a method that has elements of #gtd , but I have found the #EisenhowerMatrix doesn't work for me. I have something more like your system for processing the inbox for both that and prioritisation (now, not-now, not), at the moment.

  18. The “Eisenhower Box” shouldn’t be called that because it’s a clear repackaging of Stephen Covey’s Time Matrix concept, which Covey in turn most likely got from Roger and Rebecca Merrill. The attribution to Eisenhower is loosely based on a single sentence that has been misattributed to him, and there is no evidence that he made, described, or ever used such a chart.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

  23. Initially, I planned to take off from blogging on all of this year's holiday Mondays, but the topic of how various presidents embraced particular aspects of productivity just grabbed ahold of me and wouldn't shake me loose. Come see what Washington, Jefferson, (John Quincy) Adams, Honest Abe, and Ike thought and said about getting things done.

With non-presidential shoutouts for Alexis Coe, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Laura Vanderkam, Stephen M. R. Covey, and if you squint, Francis Wade.

  28. #EisenhowerMatrix: #DO what's urgent&important, #Delegate, what is not important, #Schedule, what is not urgent!
SIMPLE right? ... AND ... mind the risks:

    - what really is urgent/important?
    - the cultural impact - creating a stress spiral
    - long term urgencies?
    - fake scheduling - does it really happen?
