"Brings back" led me to think of it being continued in a second season - but no.
Crunchyroll removed the entire show from their streaming platform and brought it back after protest from the audience.
A reminder that fees you pay for streaming services are paid for exploring new shows and content only.
If you like to watch shows again in a year or two, buy the Bluray if it's available.
I did, so I wasn't affected by this rug pull.

I think 86 Eighty-Six should have been a single-cour anime. I genuinely think Part 2 makes the series worse. Maybe there will be a Part 3 at some point in the future that saves it to an extent, but the damage has been done.

86 Eighty-Six Part 2 is a downgrade from Part 1 in pretty much every possible way. The art and animation are the same, but the plot and characters are much worse. It basically does the same plot again, and Frederica is a terrible addition.

One of the most disappointing things about 86 Eighty-Six Part 2 is that it voids the ending of Part 1. And I thought the ending of Part 1 was great. So, Part 2 is not only bad in its own right but also makes Part 1 worse.

After finishing Part 1 of 86 Eighty-Six, I don't actually think it needs a Part 2. I liked how this part ended. Hopefully, I don't feel like Part 2 ruins what this part had going for it.
