Once loved, now forbidden,
once fed, now atrophied,
and all the world is spinning now,
upon her, beyond her,
but not this train.

and drawing a shallow breath,
founders on the tracks.

How do I know that folk's emotional attachment to the #dyingbird site is a disease / mental illness? About 2 weeks ago, I wrote a ranting thread detailing out all the things I loathed about the site and why this was my swan song. The next day I posted my final thing, suspended my account and put my mastodon handle in my title over there, so folks could find me here.
