A #ConsentDecree, which can last for years, would give a federal judge responsibility for ensuring #ColumbiaUniversity changes its practices along lines laid out by #Trump’s admin. If such a decree is in place, #Columbia would have to comply with it. If a judge determines the #school is out of compliance, it could be held in contempt of court, punishable by penalties including fines.

@JosephMeyer Seattle has had a problem with policing, a #ConsentDecree for many years. I think you are probably right that Minneapolis had unusual scrutiny around the murder of George Floyd. Here, we've had some police who attended the January 6 in the capacity of rebels and a no longer so recent murder of a student via police car. However, I expect Minneapolis and Seattle will feel the #WrathofDT fairly soon and the police will overcompensate. SCouncil wont respond to queries.
