Il Texas è una nazione USA dove convivono svariate realtà, dai bovari ai petrolieri.
È in un clima caldo di gente di poche parole e tanto lavoro che è nato Joseph Michael DUSTY HILL.
Giovanissimo avrebbe fatto comunione di intenti con Billy Gibbons e Frank Beard nel creare e portare avanti per anni (almeno fino al 28/07/2021, il giorno che ci ha lasciati) il gruppo ZZ TOP.
Le loro barbe ma soprattutto il boogie southern blues rock è stato il loro marchio di fabbrica.
