I unknowingly lied about having finished my Fedora setup on my work laptop. I forgot about OBS and the DroidCam plugin for it. It was a pain in the butt until I figured out that the v4l2loopback module wasn’t loaded due to secure boot being enabled (which is weird to me since it didn’t make any problems on my desktop)

#vtubing видимо отменяется, комп не вывозит нагрузки :blobcatjoy: зато есть время проработать персонажа. Навешать костей (тут про #rigging ) на волосы, ведь перс был создан на скорую руку в надежде запуска как можно скорее, после установки всего комплекса ПО (и создания, репетиции сценария btw), вроде, #vseeface которая перехватывает движения персонажа с камеры #threedposetracker для привода в движение перса в полный рост с помощью камеры и #vroidstudio для создания персонажа. Ну и дело за малым, запустить #obsstudio и транслировать или записывать свое выступление!
Кстати, если есть в руках смартфон #android но нет веб камеры, то, его можно использовать в качестве веб камеры с помощью #droidcam

@knu I think my problem with OBS lies in its version, I might need to reinstall it or something for the virtual camera feature to work. I have 28.1 but the virtual cam button is not showing under controls. I googled it a bit. Will use #droidcam for now. Once I settle with my camera placement, I will check out if I go with the pro version of droidcam or try to get OBS working, maybe it offers higher resolution than 480p for free.

I wanted to stream a bit today, but I can't get #Droidcam to do FullHD. 😞

With more live streaming options being available e.g #Owncast and @peertube - Using your mobile devices as a camera could make some sense…
