People who argue about the need for 'free speech' on #social media are missing the point:

Freedom of speech does not matter in places where #noise & #influence decide what gets seen

Ask for #freedom from #pollution and #manipulation in shared media instead

One of the difficult things when changing jobs in academia (but I guess elsewhere too) is dragging old interests and projects with you which you simply can't let go because of the drive. That's the case with my work on promissory #discourses of #geoenergy.
So I'll be giving 2 talks on this in the coming weeks and one of them will be at an EGEC online event next Monday morning:
