So I hate to ask but given it’s disability month and all,
I got prescribed Celebrex for my tenosynovitis and it ended up costing $50. Thanks, UHC!
The problem is we need gas and I was hoping to get a more supportive brace so my De Quervain’s could actually heal and I can hopefully avoid a cortisone shot.
I have cash app, Venmo, pp, and you can donate via square from my Kofi

We are sorry for our inactivity.
I hope you had a fantastic June regardless if youre queer or ally.
However! It is July now, which means Disability Pride Month.
Not your "wrath month", not an extension of Queer Pride Month. It's for us disabled folk.
Channel your "wrath" at the fact disabled people cannot marry without losing their aid. Channel your wrath at the fact disabled people lose their autonomy to abusive institutions and individuals. Channel your wrath at those who exclude disabled folk who, in fact, don't seem disabled on a first look.
Channel your wrath at ableism that many of us experience.
And include mad folk in your disability advocacy. Mobility aid users and blind/deaf folk aren't the only disabled people that exist.

How has a lack of media descriptions/alt text affected you, here as well as elsewhere on the internet (other social media, Discord servers and other chatting communities, etc.)?
(Unfortunately, the choice limit has left me unable to acknowledge those of you who are not affected by this issue. How inconvenient! I do hope you don't feel this is unfair ... )
I have ... (Pick all that apply)

Week 2 of the #UK #DisabilityMonth !
Fasten your seatbelts, we're off to #Egypt, #Greece, and the #Roman Empire to see what information we can have on #disability #history!
I will be your guide! -
@NinonDubourg @histodons thank you for your help & historical insight on #disability from past #millenias , thought it was brilliant & great example for people to learn people with #disabilities isn't a "modern thing" but stretch back to our very ancient past. Most important now it's #UK #DisabilityMonth to learn history of care, treatment & lifestyle of #disabilitycommunity. Thank you again, looking forward to next instalment. 👍👋

@NinonDubourg @histodons @disability @disabilityhistory being a Carer for my Husband who's #disabled #chronicallyill & also as it's #UK #DisabilityMonth I'd love to learn about #disabledcommunity treatment throughout #historicalarchaeology periods dispelling myth from fact.

Hi everyone! The #UK #DisabilityMonth start today (Tuesday, November 22), so, as promised, a little #disability #history on #prehistoric time #thread for @histodons!
Did the prehistoric men and women (i.e. before 3,000 BCE) leave disabled people to die without help or did they leave them to be abandoned?
Spoiler: NO!

The #UK #DisabilityMonth will start on Tuesday November 22 to December 22, what do you think about a weakly thread on #disability #history?
I will do all, but by which period should I begin, for which are you more curious about?
