The evacuation warning that came very close to us has been lifted this morning. I may start unpacking today. So grateful for the firefighting effort, and my heart goes out to the ones who are affected. There are thousands of people still in evacuation centers. And the trees I painted in Davis Creek are surely gone...

Update on the Davis Fire includes mention of a PDS:
"Extreme fire conditions are anticipated tomorrow, with the National Weather Service designating it a Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) due to high winds, which could lead to rapid fire growth. "
