  5. Developing models for consent in health data research is not straightforward. Three articles I used this week to contrast my views & practice:

    bmcmedethics.biomedcentral.com argues for #InformedConsent since commonly invoked arguments "duty of easy rescue", "only insignificant harms", and "consent bias" do not establish a perfect duty.

    Partly in response, journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.11 for an opposing view in the context of #DataLinkage.

  6. Really still trying to connect, also with the international community. I am working in #healthservicesresearch at the #UniversityofCologne, heading a research group of 12. I am mostly working of secondary/ #claimsdata analysis, also #datamanagement and #datalinkage. Other work topics are #integratedcare and #businesscase development for #HealthIT.
    Outside work I do #DIY ( #woodworking #metalworking ), #gardening and #beekeeping
