  1. @kboyd I'll be trying that soon. Have got my household mostly comfortable using Kanban on #Notion for chores and have been rapidly transitioning my personal and professional workflows from #CraftApp into #Obsidian.

  2. Kudos to the #BearApp devs for an awesome v2. This has been my favorite place to author content and save ideas related to that content for quite some time now, and it's only gotten that much better.

Being able to pick custom fonts is fantastic (finally I can use my favorite grungy typewriter font!), and support for tables and backlinks is most appreciated.

I also use #CraftApp, but mainly for a knowledge wiki. I may start to lean more on Bear now that it's a bit more powerful.

  4. My #Tech life was going pretty great until #CraftApp changed how they handle guest accounts.
Since then I’ve been in an existential panic and unsure how the hell to organize my writing and work notes and second brain.

I think it’s settling down, but this week my brain has turned into a tangled mess whenever I let it touch this topic.

  5. I had just settled into #CraftApp and they changed the rules to remove guest users on business accounts.

    Dammit.

Now I’m seriously considering switching to Obsidian.

    So frustrated.

If #BearApp supported link sharing and handled images better, I’d still be there full time.

  6. The more I used #CraftApp the more I love it.
I think I’m still going to keep #BearApp around as my personal wiki and note taking tool, as it’s super easy to use without putting nay forethought into structure (and then to structure the notes later using tags), but Craft will likely be my primary writing tool for the foreseeable future.

  7. After 15 months, I've ended my experiment with #CraftApp.

It had a lot of potential, but I feel the promises made to the user community and not finishing half completed features, got pushed aside for more business focused features.

I still have 9 months left until it renews again, so I'll keep an eye on their updates.

In the mean time, I've moved everything back to #AppleNotes and #AppleReminders (using #Goodtask as the front end).

I just wish the Notes team would just fix it so I could grab a link to a note or folder without having to fake invite myself with a secondary personal email...

  9. I think I’m settling on #CraftApp for work and #BearApp for a personal Zettelkasten. I need to experiment with Craft more, but after two days poking at it I’m very happy with the results.

  10. As a satisfied user of the #CraftApp I’m really looking forward to trying out the new #AI Assistant features, just released today. Based on #GPT-3.
