Last one for today.

I've only ever known my husband get to more than one location on a photoshoot on a couple of occasions. Usually there's just not the time.

Last night/early morning he visited 6 different places on the Island. This is #ComptonBay on the #IsleofWight

This is my choice for January in our 2025 #IsleofWight calendar.

My husband who takes the photos much prefers other shots from this session but in my view this is the most suitable for the calendar. Looking at the mock up he's happy with it 😁
January is always a tricky month, the calendar needs to have an impact from the get go. I wouldn't want to look at a dreary image for the most depressing month of the year.

Taken at low tide a couple of days ago. This little tug boat was wrecked in 1947.

Fortunately there was no loss of life as she was being towed away for salvage at the time.

I've justed posted it on our business page on Facebook with some trepidation. The amount of scam messages we're getting now is ridiculous. 14 of them yesterday alone.
That's why I prefer being here, just as me.
No suggested posts for a cheesecake offer in a Miami cafe either - how does that work when I'm vegan and never even been to America, let alone Miami 😅

The skies were interesting yet ominous! This is one of my favourite beaches here, especially so out of season.

Steps under the stars at #ComptonBay on the #IsleofWight

There is very little light pollution at this location and my husband took advantage of the clear conditions to grab this shot.

Those steps are a bit of a killer when you're heading back up from the beach!

My husband has photographed it many times over the years, he took this more recent shot a few months ago using his drone. This little tug boat ran aground in 1947 and fortunately no lives were lost.
