My Mom needed a lift/ride this morning so I awoke after 40 minutes sleep and had my first Nescafe instant Expresso and I was amazed at how alert I immediately was. :)

Somalis in Toronto used to start speaking to me in Somali. I learned the word for peace to say back to them. I took their mistaking me for one of their own as a compliment.

When I first visited Spain in '91, I drove there from London in my light blue Ford Capri 1600 without a word of Spanish or even a phrasebook :)
