Today I heard that a friend of mine died.

He was my ninth friend to die and my third friend to die of cancer

Another beautiful soul.

He never put a foot wrong.

He was from that part of Italy where they speak German.

I met him in India.

I used to do the full 90 minute Chinese meditation.

Once at night in Cuba with far less distractions, I did the whole thing without thinking once and it was amazing!!!

The other day a car accelerated towards me on my street. Yesterday I saw another vehicle approaching me; so I cycled out into the center of the road to block it and the driver gave way to me. :)

I was sitting in an adjoining space outside the badminton courts in the gym getting myself together after pilates in the nearby studio.

These elderly Chinese came in.

I listened to them to hear if they were speaking Cantonese which most speak in Hong Kong where I lived 1996-98.

Perhaps this old man was observing me too and seeing how I looked at his friends with warmth bc I noticed him and he gave me a rich smile and a nod and I returned the compliment :)
