Never underestimate how much literary translators love to travel.

Day after day, we sit in our offices, quietly searching for the best words, thinking, dreaming, imaginating what the author intended, what the readers might think.

And, given the opportunity, we will book our ticket, pack the bag, and run off to discover a different corner of this world right away.
For new impressions, new expressions, new people, new ideas.

Feels good to be back in #Jutland. It is very windy, though. #LEGO #Denmark #minifigure #LEGOMinifigure #bestJob

From the filth of pulling down lath & plaster ceilings to getting soaked outside - I'm beginning to feel bad about the envy my updates might be causing 🤣 This is a stock photo - but I really am off to wheelbarrow gravel around in the pouring rain, to fill in a trench after laying a perforated drainage pipe. Luckily working with someone else who keeps me sane! #BestJob #Drainage #WomenInConstruction

Im reading a really interesting paper on "how high-tech assistive technology in
the elderly care are represented in selected Swedish newspapers"

And while this is a bit of a cluncky wording it's a promising read so far.
