@schematicwizard Ay. Those solder points are visibly joined, so i would assume them to be fine.
Anyhow, your suggestion to use a connection tester should have occurred to myself, thanks very much for the reminder!

Ups, more:
yet don't worry about it, if your soldering iron hasen't seen this particular module yet :) Thank you for looking into this in any case!

@lee I am approaching master grade very slowly. That makes sense in order to avoid mistakes, although it took almost 6 hours to solder only the resistors (around 60 now).
Solder points on board are so near to each other unfortunately, that it is impossible to see, if they are meant to merge, or stay separated. Some definately need to merge, others seem so near to each other - but separated - that they might need to stay sperated. Tedious! And no really help there on the Befaco site, as they don't seem to provide images of the boards as they should look like. Hmm. Half a good experience yet. #Befaco #solderKit #Eurorack -

Soldering a Befaco Instrument Interface today. "Master Grade", they say. wish me luck :)
#diy #solderKit #Eurorack #Befaco #InstrumentInterface #audiopro @Professional, inspiring audio
Finished, tested, runs! Thank you to @schematicwizard for feedback and the Befaco support was very helpful and quick as well.
Older update
Here's after ten hours of being slow on everything. Befacos's support now cleared a few solder points, all are okay in fact :) The boards are very dense and it isn't always clear, if two solder points almost overlapping are meant to actually make an electrical connection... someone on #Modwiggler said they should change making art on solder boards in favor of clarity of electrical flow - it isn't sooo bad actually. -

I sampled the Eurorack module ‘Noise Plathora’ by Befaco and published 50 noises on freesound.org under a Creative Commons 0 licence.

2nd xmas electronics build, the Befaco VC ADSR.
Have had the board kit for almost 8 years now, bought it when the Befaco guys held a workshop in Tampere (mid-march 2017). Boards got packed away when moving, buried deep in the parts bin. About time to get it done!

And there it is. I probably spent more time figuring out how the jack nuts and LEDs go in, than actually soldering parts. Seems someone forgot to update their build documentation for this specific model.. Breeze to build anyway 🥰
Best bits in the kit - that tool for the jack nuts and the pcb snap-off bits. Latter are great for many #Diy builds, really any use wherever you need both reasonably thin and rigid base material.

Even though as a general rule I have no interest in designing #eurorack modules with little computers hiding inside of them, I'll confess that I kinda want to do a combo tuner/quantizer just so I can get closer to having a case that's 100% my designs.
Side note: I love the #Befaco Pony VCO (and more generally, I LOVE the flood of true through-zero VCOs that came out last year, all based on the same Sound Semi IC, the SSI2130) but I wish it had multiple simultaneous waveform outputs. I'm resisting doing my own SSI2130-based design, though, because (a) there are already a bunch of great ones, and (b) I'm not quite ready to buy a bunch of those ICs and hand them off to JLCPCB for assembly, and they aren't really hand-solderable.
One of these days I'll finish a VCO based on the SSI2131 or the AS3340, just so I can check off that box, I guess.
