It's kinda hard to explain why the Monogatari Series is great, it's weird to conceptualize what a show carried by its writing can offer without watching it.
Light novel originals are always tough to visually translate and animate, but SHAFT did a great job making the conversations engaging with good sound design, tone-setting music and AMAZING art direction, with a layer of experimentalism more common in extremely conceptual animations.

Studio SHAFT coming up with new and unique ways to create a convoluted naming system for anime. Here is the layout of the latest Monogatari season, which is called Off & Monster:
Episode 1 is OROKAMONOGATARI Tsukihi Undo
Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are NADEMONOGATARI Nadeko Draw parts 1 - 5
Between episodes 6 and 7 is an episode labelled Ex titled "A Cruel Fairy Tale: The Beautiful Princess" which is a prequel to the next arc.
Episode 7 and 8 are WAZAMONOGATARI Acerola Bon Appétit Parts 1 - 2
Episodes 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 are SHINOBUMONOGATARI Parts 1 - 6, also called Shinobu Mustards Parts 1 - 6
These are sold on four Blurays:
Orokamonogatari Vol 1
Nademonogatari Vol 1
Wazamonogatari Vol 1
Shinobumonogatari Vol 1

The #Wazamonogatari season of #Bakemonogatari includes - or shows along, whichever - #Shinobumonogatari.
IMO, Wazamonogatari isn't particularly interesting.
However, Shinobumonogatari tells the origin of Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade "Shinobu". It's GORGEOUSLY animated, with the usual surreal dialogue style, signature of original Bakemonogatari series.
Spot the homage to Serial Experiments #Lain, too =)

Est-ce qu'il y a des gens qui lisent le manga #Bakemonogatari mais qui n'avaient jamais lu le light novel ou regardé l'anime avant ?
Vraie question, juste par curiosité.
Shower thoughts, mais j'ai vraiment l'impression que le manga s'adresse à un "lectorat initié" et que c'est un mauvais point d'entrée dans la série. Mais je suis inévitablement biaisé sur la question, car je lis le LN et ai maté l'anime plusieurs fois.
Du coup, si y'en a qui découvert Bakemonogatari (et les Monogateri series) par le manga, je suis curieux d'avoir votre ressenti 👀

So I'm now with a new series of #EverydayEscape. A #SliceOfLife series about a Mangaka and her daily struggling. Nothing to exciting but a good series to read in bed (at least so far).
Also #Bakemonogatari 11 hit my place 🥺 and it's soo good. How could I ignore the Manga just for so long? (I was in love with the Anime) -

Kizumonogatari has some incredibly well animated fight scenes and requires almost zero knowledge of the Monogatari series as it takes place first temporally. Animation wise it's Shaft flexing and it's gorgeous.
