This week's #AniMangaPictureChallenge ( @apc ) is "Jobs"!
The job of playing in High-Stakes Golf Matches (sometimes for money, sometimes to represent high-powered criminal organizations) is a tough one, but someone's gotta do it.
Whilst not a traditional 9-to-5 kind of job... you might consider it Contract Work. :P
This is (of course(?)) from "Birdie Wing: Golf Girl's Story", and is one of the most absurd anime I've ever watched. But it's a very enjoyable story and well worth the watch!

How about the job of an Auto-Memory Doll? These typists, in an age where many could not read or write, needed nimble fingers, sure, but also the ability to understand others. They do everything from typing up contracts to traveling the world to take on tasks such as archiving books of knowledge or ghost writing for monarchs.
Erica Brown, Cattleya Baudelaire, Iris Cannary, and, of course, Violet Evergarden all work for the CH Postal Company in Leiden, Leidenschaftlich.

Tsubasa Kazanari was one of the first young songstresses to bond with a Symphogear armor, and is the most strict given she formerly lived her life as nothing more than a heartbroken, fatalistic, self proclaimed sword in defense of Japan...
...and yet somehow her rooms are so messy they leave people thinking she's been forcibly kidnapped! :p

For me, the concept of a Road Trip meant finding an optional journey taken for one's enjoyment rather than a necessary one taken because of a job. This ruled out a couple of things like the constant business traveling in Spice & Wolf.
So, what was left? One of the greatest road trips in #anime history! That of Frieren and Fern starting on their "mere ten-year adventure" to find the place where one could speak with the dead that Frieren's mentor wrote about 1,000 years earlier.

In the first episode of #RevueStarlight, musical theater actress in training Karen Aijo has a brief premonition dream sequence where a mysterious girl wearing a twinned star hair pen pushes her off Tokyo Tower.
Thus starts this weird, wild, mishmash of theater kid drama and magical armed stage combat set to song and dance.
