It's not all that hard to find a dumb phone in modern anime, but I wanted to shoot for something old school iconic. The 1st opening from NANA turned out to be exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. In one pic it had everything:
- A hard cd case with cool background art
- A compact disc player loaded with an awesome looking cd
- Cool wired headphones
- Nana Komatsu's fabulously pink dumb phone displaying 01 new messages. -
Here's a contribution to the #animangafoundit challenge (thanks to @anianimalsmoe for pointing it out to me):
It's hamster Ebichu from the comedy manga/anime series おるちゅばんエビちゅ (Oruchuban Ebichu, or Housekeeping Hamster Ebichu).
Ebichu takes care of cooking and cleaning while her owner is having fun with her useless boyfriend. She often makes lewd jokes and gets beaten up by her owner for this.
I fondly remember this as the first (or maybe one of the first) fansubs I ever watched. It's also where I learned the word まんこ :blobfoxsmirk:
