This week's #AniMangaPictureChallenge ( @apc ) is "Jobs"!
The job of playing in High-Stakes Golf Matches (sometimes for money, sometimes to represent high-powered criminal organizations) is a tough one, but someone's gotta do it.
Whilst not a traditional 9-to-5 kind of job... you might consider it Contract Work. :P
This is (of course(?)) from "Birdie Wing: Golf Girl's Story", and is one of the most absurd anime I've ever watched. But it's a very enjoyable story and well worth the watch!

How about the job of an Auto-Memory Doll? These typists, in an age where many could not read or write, needed nimble fingers, sure, but also the ability to understand others. They do everything from typing up contracts to traveling the world to take on tasks such as archiving books of knowledge or ghost writing for monarchs.
Erica Brown, Cattleya Baudelaire, Iris Cannary, and, of course, Violet Evergarden all work for the CH Postal Company in Leiden, Leidenschaftlich.

Where would one find a drinking glass and eyeglasses in the same place? How about a bar... like say The Yellow Flag, a bar frequented by the Lagoon Company in Roanapur, Thailand.
Here, Dutch, Rock, and Benny enjoy a quiet drink after a long day of piracy and kidnapping... with Rock being the one pirated from and kidnapped with Dutch and Benny being his kidnappers!

Disappointments? This may be going for low hanging fruit but *Rent A Girlfriend*. Conceptually, I still think a show that was about rental girlfriends and all the complications that would involve would be interesting. This show though, revolving around an unremarkable MC who never really improves in a meaningful way (though I've dropped off in case he has), and a bunch of girls who deserved better, isn't that. @apc "Friends and rivals" is how the stage actresses at Seisho Music Academy describe each other. They work hard to put on dazzling shows together, but only a handful of them can truly rise to the top.
The two highest ranked in the 99th class are Maya Tendo, a girl whose supreme confidence is backed by an openness to invite challengers, and Claudine Saijo, a well-known child actress who is working to transcend her childhood stardom as an adult.

I've already got 7+ #anime that world work for the topic of Falling. I'll just go with my favorite and show off the others at the end of the week.
In the first episode of #RevueStarlight, musical theater actress in training Karen Aijo has a brief premonition dream sequence where a mysterious girl wearing a twinned star hair pen pushes her off Tokyo Tower.
Thus starts this weird, wild, mishmash of theater kid drama and magical armed stage combat set to song and dance.
