Holy cow, first time I'd ever noticed this phenomenon. The #AutoMix feature in Apple Music can subtly change the speed of an outgoing track to line up with the beat of an incoming track.

I say "subtly" because I suspect it's happened before and I didn't realize it, but a blend I just now heard slowed down the outgoing song by a significant amount—though not to any detriment. The blend was very well done.

Pensaba que la función AutoMix de Apple Music solo funcionaba entre canciones del mismo género y no es así, y la verdad, cuando mezcla diferentes géneros queda muy muy mal.

Publiczna beta HomePod 26

Apple udostępniło publiczną betę systemu HomePod 26, wraz z iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe oraz pozostałymi systemami.

Nowa wersja oprogramowania dla HomePodów skupia się głównie na kompatybilności z innymi urządzeniami Apple, ale wprowadza też dwie długo wyczekiwane funkcje:

• Crossfade dla Apple Music – płynne przejścia między utworami.
• Możliwość sprawdzania i zmiany sieci Wi-Fi bezpośrednio z poziomu HomePoda.

Crossfade był dostępny wcześniej na iPhonie czy Macu, a teraz trafia także do głośników Apple. Nowa funkcja zarządzania Wi-Fi to z kolei praktyczne ułatwienie w razie problemów z połączeniem.

Co dokładnie kryje najnowsza beta iOS 26?

Aby zainstalować betę HomePod 26, należy zarejestrować się na stronie beta.apple.com. Pamiętaj jednak, że to wersja testowa i może zawierać błędy.

Oficjalna premiera systemu zaplanowana jest na jesień 2025.

Uwaga!

Pamiętajcie, że po instalacji aktualizacji oprogramowania układowego HomePod w wersji beta — ryzykujecie ich uszkodzenie! Jeżeli coś pójdzie nie tak, to umowa którą akceptujecie tuż przed instalacją mówi wprost, że Apple nie ma obowiązku naprawić Wam takich głośników (nawet na gwarancji, zwłaszcza że produkt nie jest dostępny w Polsce więc jej nie podlega). Głośniki bedą też musiały trafić na płatną diagnostykę do serwisu i zrobić to w kraju, z którego pochodzi głośnik. Oprogramowanie można przywrócić przez Maca i Findera, ale tylko do aktualnie wgranej wersji, więc nie ma możliwości powrotu do wcześniejszej.
