Good morning tooters. It’s going to be a beautiful sunny day but the start was a very fresh 5c, funnily though it didn’t feel as cold as yesterday because there wasn’t that snow chill feel in the air this morning. It’s going to reach a very pleasant 22c today, in fact it’s going to pick up a little for the whole week - there will be some swimming happening during the coming week for sure 😃.
Weekly personal washing is done, I just haven’t hung it out yet. It’s a housework day today too. This used to be the day when I’d go & clean my whole house in a couple of hours & everything would get a going over. Not anymore, I find I now have to do bits of the bigger jobs daily. Partly because of the results of previous injuries, partly because of my age & partly because I honestly don’t care quite as much as I used to 😂. Now I’m not saying my place is grubby by any means, I’m just not as pedantic anymore. The art of letting go 😃 - I’m learning it well!
I think I’m going to go & sit in that beautiful sunshine, face to the sun when it warms up out there just a little more. It’s a lovely time of year.

Good morning tooters. It’s a very fresh morning & for the first time I have my winter dressing gown over my pjs. I don’t need the heater, I’m warm enough this way. It’s finally dropped down the single digits at 9c this morning, but it feels almost icy outside & it’s only reaching 20c today with a few showers forecast.
Not a great night for me. I woke in the early hours to the sound of heavy rain & stayed awake for a good two hours bothered by the rain & worrying it would flood out the back again. I got up a couple of times to check out of the bathroom window to see. I didn’t want to open the door. At 4am I did though, turned on the outside light & went out to check properly. All good & I should have done it before because I went back to bed & was able to relax & go back to sleep until nearly 8am. So I estimate I got a good night nights sleep just in two stages 😂.
It’s too cold for a swim & too wet for a walk, so another at home exercise class for me today, then off down the street for a couple of things at the supermarket & bottle of wine for the weekend. After such a late start it’s time I got moving otherwise it’ll be lunchtime before I know it & I haven’t eaten anything as yet!

Good morning tooters & what a glorious sunny morning it is too. Another cool 15c morning & today it will get to 29c, it is so very still outside, absolutely no breeze at all. The Mourning Doves are still on their aerial roost but it’s already warming up so they’ll be taking off soon - & there they go 😃.
I will be heading off for a swim in around half an hour, I would like it just a little warmer than it is now although the water is kept at a lovely 26c. That will probably be about it for me today though, but if I feel up to it I’ll whipper snip as well. If I make a start on those lawns I’ll be more inclined to complete them sooner rather than later & they are really getting too long again but they are still so damp every morning & it’s too hot for me in the afternoons - can’t win lately. I’d be terrible in the tropics 😬.

Good morning tooters. It’s a lovely cool morning of 15c & will be a beautiful sunny day reaching 29c. The sun is only just now peeking over the hills & barely touching my garden yet & it’s still damp out there. I really need to mow the lawns again but about all I’ll get done is whipper snipping as it’s just too damp. Hopefully in a day or two, but who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️. Every morning, on the tv aerial of a house not too far away sit 4 or 5 Mourning Doves. I presume this is their night roost & it’s a perfect spot to catch those early suns rays. Smart Doves 😊.
I plan on doing that Yin yoga class again this morning, it really served me well yesterday & while there’s still a twinge in the back muscles, it’s better than it’s been in weeks. So doing this class again may just finally fix it properly 🤞🏼. Then I’ll head down & visit my sister now that she’s home & see how she is today. Nothing else planned for the day.

Good morning tooters 😃 woke to a very fresh 8c after the most solid nights sleep I’ve had in months & just because it wasn’t an over warm night for me. Extra blanket in the bed & I slept so so well & I feel great. It’s going to be a very pleasant 24c & today is my Vinnies day. I think I’ll mow when I get home this afternoon, it’s just the perfect weather to do something outside.
