  1. I just received another positive feedback from a #developer I have been bugging for years and who has now started implementing #linuxsupport (no ETA as of now). 🙂

I'm talking about Acon Digital, creators of the Acoustica #audioeditor and the Restoration Suite #plugin (s), among others.

To share my excitement, you can take a look at their lineup here:

And have a look at the up-to-date support request tracking list here:

  2. AmigaOS 4: Audio editor Rave 1.8

Daniel "trixie" Jedlicka has released version 1.8 of his audio editor "Rave". To load and save audio files, the programme now uses the Linux library libsndfile, which was recently ported to an AmigaOS shared library by Jedlicka himself and was also released today.

  3. Open source, cross-platform audio editor Audacity has added beta support for Windows on ARM, but plugins aren't supported. Audacity 3.75 also brings bug fixes and support for importing 32-bit FLAC files. omgubuntu.co.uk/2025/08/audaci

  4. Which #Wizarding #audio format is most free and #OpenSource? This list is from some of the options available for export in #Audacity #AudioEditor. If there are others, would be interested in hearing about them.

  5. Audacity 3.7.2 open-source audio editor fixes crashes, improves cloud saving, brings back the "Residue" option in noise reduction, and more.

  6. Another update regarding the 3.7.1 rebase from your local @gperson:

Unfortunately, I've decided that our light and dark themes will not be re-added during the initial rebase. I'm quite done dealing with upstream's theming system, which has only gotten...better, I guess?

Instead, they'll be added once the theme system rewrite is complete. That way, themes will be much easier to deal with.

  7. And this build is now public! Visit codeberg.org/tenacityteam/tena to try it out for yourself.

WARNING: Things *will* be broken. Test at your own risk.
