Where is the best spot for a casual lunch between #melbourne and #apollobay if going the inland route? I'm guessing Winchelsea has the most options. Is there anything in Forrest besides the brewery (which is lovely, but been there)?

The Great Ocean Walk from Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostles is a hike that covers approximately 100km in seven days. Even if you're not into hiking and camping, the Great Ocean Road is a stunning drive and worth doing as a daytrip.
This time last year, @verdigriis & me did the hike with a moderate amount of preparation & training, survived, and enjoyed the experience (despite storms, mud, and bitey insects).
I think we're extremely fortunate to have this extraordinarily beautiful landscape and wildlife right here on our doorstep in Victoria.
