First sip is pineapple forward, and other fruits seem to be hiding. As a result, the pineapple husk seems to be a little prominent while the cracker malt seems to be able to peek around the corner.

First sip is more charred wood than I expected, even from the sip, but it dovetails nicely into the sweet dark chocolate with a little of a vanilla highlight.

It's called Absence of Light, and it does a pretty good job of absorbing photons. It is black, but it's brown at the edges, and I've definitely had beer that was more opaque than this - Pothole Filler comes to mind.

I am partial to Park Avenue because of all the flavors, but the best weird flavor I've ever had was a #4Hands Chocolate Stout one from Schnucks. That was years ago tho!
