I remember seeing a while ago some article where a Google camera software person got a standard phone camera to capture extra high-resolution images by quickly taking many photos in a row and used the tiny differences between them like "samples" similar to how some heavy Anti Aliasing techniques sample the same pixel multiple times. I wonder if I could do the same technique on 3DS images.
Anyways, here's a unrelated crappy picture of the #moon through some #trees.

My sister asked me what I take pictures of and my reply was "I don't know. Shapes? Mostly ceilings, hallways, and, like, trashcans and stuff."
Then we passed by this #trashcan and I had to prove my point.

Here's a fun fact: the #3DS seems to not share settings between the cameras when it takes pictures. So for any shot, each camera might choose slightly different settings.
Here's a somewhat extreme example where the cameras disagreed on (I think) #whitebalance

I'm probably doing damage to the cameras or something, but I can't help grabbing these lens flares when they show up.

So I know I'm shooting myself in the foot by starting with a 3DS camera, but man the colors are rough. There's so much more color IRL than what these capture.
So I'm exploring what I can do in post to give them a little boost. Here's some pictures of a lush-green bush with bright red fruits.
1st is from a #3DS
3rd is reference from a #GooglePixel6
2nd is from after using #GIMP to bring the 3DS image closer to the PixelStill needs work, but now the bush is actually green.
