Elementor PRO или Bricks: почему я перестал выбирать один WordPress-билдер на все проекты
Споры между Elementor и Bricks обычно сводятся к попытке определить победителя: что быстрее, удобнее, чище, функциональнее. После нескольких лет работы с WordPress мне такой вопрос кажется не совсем правильным. Я много работаю с Elementor PRO и не собираюсь от него отказываться. При этом для новых проектов всё чаще смотрю в сторону Bricks. Причина не в том, что один билдер «хороший», а второй «плохой». Они по-разному вписываются в процесс разработки. Для себя я сейчас разделяю их примерно так:

Lumibricks - 17010 Neon Tech Station
1. My fingers aren't used to construction weekends anymore...
2. The Neon Tech Station is the smallest building set in the Cyberpunk series so far.
Unfortunately, it seems Lumibricks had a former Lego employee design it... otherwise, I can't explain the colour chaos and the exposed cables (picture 4) -

Normally not my kind of thing, but for €15 with 1170 pieces, 9 LEDs and 60 printed parts, I had to take it home ;)

During the #weekend I've finished the #Orchid #Lego set. I haven't built one in quite some time but it's one of those things that makes you fly in your own bubble in a place that it's all yours, exactly like when as a kid I was building stuff with the famous #bricks Thank you Lego for making new stuff while keeping true to your essence!

Auf der dunklen Seite von WordPress gibt es ja viele Tools, die von den orthodoxen WordPressern seit Jahren als Pfui-Gack behandelt werden. Aber wenn man schnelle, präzise Ergebnisse braucht und Budgets eingehalten werden müssen sind pragmatische Entscheidungen gefragt, und da landet man schnell dort.

For those waiting with bated breath over my strange brick discovery: some progress. Mark Cranston, a brick expert in Scotland, replied with more detail on Woodland (the maker), but also cleared up the Bigelow mystery. They made furnace arches and linings and licensed their various designs. So this is a Woodland-made brick of a Bigelow design.
I found a patent that shows this very shape and explains the notch. Why it was on our land remains the big mystery.

Mowing yesterday, I uncovered a large, stamped, notched brick in the ground. Did a charcoal rubbing to read it, saw it wasn't a grave stone, dug it out today and washed it.
I've figured out it's a patent pending steel/iron furnace brick from Woodland Firebrick Co in PA - maybe as old as late 19th/early 20th century. Reads:

Brick fans, is the spiral pattern here evidence that several different types of clay were rolled together prior to shaping? I'm not positive of age but nearby residence was built in 1834.
