Today the much anticipated version 0.9.1 of DICOM-rs is released! DICOM-rs is a Rust implementation of the DICOM standard.
The highlights are support for secure transport connections using TLS, a few API extensions, and a large number of bug fixes.
Despite being a patch release, there is a minor breaking change worth paying attention to if you use `dicom_ul` with the `async` feature. Please file an issue if you encounter some friction when updating DICOM-rs crates in your dependency tree.

DICOM-rs 0.9.0 is here! While this one was mainly focused on introducing necessary API changes, some new features are worth highlighting: reading and writing deflated datasets, adjustments to data set writing for reliability, an improved upper layer protocol stack, and a new DICOM object trait which works for different types of objects.

Just released DICOM-rs 0.8.2! DICOM-rs is an ecosystem of DICOM libraries and tools for the next generation of medical imaging systems.
This new revision brings a wide array of backward-compatible contributions. A major release is already in the works as we pave the way for v0.9.0, but until then, version 0.8.2 already offers some interesting features, including a new API to read DICOM data in small parts, and several improvements to pixel data decoding.

The Fortress is an "action/shooter" of quick arithmetic thinking, written in #rustlang with #bevyengine for #GitHubGameOff 2024. It turned out not to be as good as originally imagined, but if you have no expectations and are willing to give it a try anyway: https://enet4.github.io/the-fortress/

Investing more of my spare time on #GitHubGameOff. I've decided to simplify things a bit by making the mods floating targets which hurt you if you make a mistake. Most of the game logic is done, including level transitions and message interludes for the storyline. Gotta start making it more interesting. #rustgamedev
