First it's concerns about hindering ambulances, then car parking, build disruption, and now trees. There's always something. #CoventryCityCouncil needs to just get on and build this essential missing section of route. The short-term noise will die down after a few years and soon be forgotten.

On the blog: Back in April, in a bit of 'safety' performative theatre, #WarwickshireCountyCouncil celebrated installing a new guardrail on a road near a school. But in doing so it reduced available space for walking and wheeling - seemingly ignoring DfT recommendations over accessible width.

It's really worrying given the police note uninsured drivers are more likely to be involved in fatal collisions and other criminal offences.
