"Due to a bug in rpm-ostree, the '/etc/[g]shadow[-]' files in Fedora CoreOS, Fedora IoT and Fedora Atomic Desktops have the world-readable bit set.
To fix impacted systems immediately, run the following command as root:

This weekend my goal is to get Fedora Core OS :fedora: installed on an old laptop and add it as a Kubernetes :kubernetes: node to my cluster. I've read great things about it and can't wait to dive in!

Fedora IoT 40 got some cool under-the-hood changes. :fedora_iot:
First is that Fedora IoT now uses the unified core model, making them the last rpm-ostree variant to make the switch.
