So, i have to reinstall #fedora. Don't get me wrong; I've been using the same installation since #fedora37. Since i'm unable to fix this bug, and it is likely to be my fault, i'm really happy how long this installation worked out.

As a reminder, @fedora 37 is going EOL tomorrow, December 5th!
Please make sure to upgrade to either Fedora 38 or Fedora 39 to stay on a supported version!

Pues regrese a donde no me falla casi nunca nada, pero esta vez optando por usar una versión antes, es decir #Fedora37.

I also had to swap out i3lock for swaylock, and I had some problems with pavucontrol, which worked fine on #fedora37. Had some sort of hang requiring a hard reboot, not sure what happened there.

General reminder for @fedora users:
In just a little over two weeks (May 16) Fedora 36 will go EOL! Make sure you set aside some time to upgrade to Fedora 37 or Fedora 38 before then!

je me demandes si tu utilises aussi les lenovo avec ecran tactile, j'ai une #fedora37 workstation et l'ecrand de la tablette est endommagé ce qui produit des fausses entrées, c'est possible de desactiver l'ecran tactile ?

Finally decide to figure out what's wrong.
After 30 minutes of jumping between #Blender versions 2.93 LTS to 3.3, 3.4.1, I figured Blender crashes if I run the Flatpak builds of 3.4.1, the repo builds but not the tar ball from the site.
Blender is now working!~

Well kids, Arch just doesn't have the shine it did several years. Not sure why - but it just doesn't seem worth the pain these days - of course we're getting older here 😅 Back to good ol' @fedora we go !!! #fedora #linux #Fedora37 #fedoraworkstation There's just something perfect about this distro.

Been experimenting with #budgiedesktop on #fedora37; really loving the experience and looking forward to the official spin.

Finally did the big jump, and swapped the native #jack implementation on my #Fedora37 with the #pipewire one. Apart from a few dependencies that caused conflicts, the swap was seamless, and launching an existing #ardour session worked fine too (playback, at least), so that was encouraging! Next step now is to record something and check whether this lives up to the low latency I got with JACK itself: looking forward to this weekend! Tips welcome if you know of any pitfalls I should be aware of
