  4. My favorite conversation from the farmer's market yesterday:

9 yr old (points to fabric): how much is this

me: $35. That's fabric you'd use to sew something.

9 yr old: I want it because it has guitars on it.

me: Oh, right on! Do you play guitar?

9yr old: Yeah, I used to play country but now I only play metal.

me: Wow, like what kind of stuff?

    9 yr old: Nickleback.

  5. In my #homebrew, #spellbooks are rarely actual books - they're disguised as other objects, a symptom of the distrust of mystics (#clerics, #wizards, etc). Most recently a player retrieved a spellbook hidden in a lightning-blasted tree stump in a swamp - a glass eye and magnifying glass in a leather pouch. She needs the magnifying glass to read the spells, etched in tiny runes on the glass. The previous owner actually used the eye, lol. #ttrpg #worldbuilding #magic

  23. Someone talk me down from starting a #cybersecurity #smallbiz that provides mostly guidance (but is NOT an MSSP) for local rural business & community. I'd host monthly #tabletops, put out regular information on #phishing, #mfa, #passwords, #encryption, #governance, etc and Slack or something to build a community of practice. The goal would be to NOT profit, but sustain efforts and improve the security posture of my local community.

I mean .... I kinda wanna just go for it
