Hey #MARCHintosh types, don't forget that we've still got #BadScan up and running for the rest of the month! Just a few easy steps:
1. You print your image to one of the printers in my #GlobalTalk zone (ImageWriter, LaserWriter, or StyleWriter 2500)
2. I convert the ImageWriter into a scanner with a good ol' ThunderScan*
3. Your image gets scanned using a Mac 512.
4. I save the bad scan to your zone or stick it in mine or print it back to you somewhere.

#BadScan update!
The black ink in my Colour StyleWriter 2500 seems to be working properly again. The other colours are questionable, but black is going strong. So if you print your image in B&W to Stylin’ in my #GlobalTalk zone, it should all come out fine.
Then I can scan your image in either glorious 1-bit or luxurious 5-bit greyscale with my Macintosh 512 and ImageWriter II, and save it either to my server or send it directly to yours over GlobalTalk!
What could go wrong

In a true #MARCHintosh and printers-are-evil way, the StyleWriter’s ink has started acting up. In weird inconsistent ways. Sometimes everything but black. Sometimes only black and cyan..:D
Suspect it’s the nozzle head thing rather than the ink tanks, so a new one is on the way.
In the meantime, that just means #BadScan is going to be even badder 💁
Print your images to Stylin’ and I’ll scan them with the ImageWriter. What could go wrong!

The printer has 9 pins and does 9 lines at once. The scanner can only do 1 at a time. So it take 9x longer to scan than to print 💁
